Support the first sites

Your gift gets the first farms growing.

Green Leaf Kenya is raising funds to launch The Resilient Ecosystems and Agricultural Livelihoods Initiative (REALI), our first pilot: 10 community groups, 10 demonstration farms, on land that sand mining left behind.

Your support funds the baseline assessment, the site safety checks, and the first growing systems.

Our account is in Kenya Shillings. International transfers in USD or other currencies are accepted and converted by the bank on receipt.

Where your money goes

At least 70% of what we spend goes directly to program work; right now, that means the REALI pilot: the community baseline, professional site assessments, and the first growing systems.

The rest supports institutional development, monitoring, and communications.

Our software and communication tools are already covered by technology grants, so more of your gift reaches the field.

Questions about giving

Where does my money go before the pilot starts?

Directly into launch preparation: the community baseline assessment, professional site assessments, and the first demonstration systems.

What if you don't raise the full amount?

We start with what funding allows. REALI is designed to begin with the first sites and grow, every gift moves the next site closer.

Who ends up owning what my gift helps build?

The community groups. Green Leaf Kenya never buys or owns land. Every site your gift helps establish is the property of the group that runs it.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Green Leaf Kenya is a Kenyan community-based organization. We make no claim about tax deductibility in any country - please check with a tax advisor in your own jurisdiction.
